7. Limitless S1
Shows based on movies are all the rage nowadays, with a mixed degree of success (for every Fargo, there's an Uncle Buck), and one of the most promising coming soon is Limitless, which will air on CBS from 22 September. It'll be based on the Bradley Cooper film of the same name, and set shortly after that events of that movie. It'll focus on Brian Finch, played by Jake McDorman (Greek, Shameless), who discovers the powers of the mysterious drug NZT. His enhanced brain capabilities lead to the FBI coercing him into helping out on complex cases. It's expanding on the film's interesting premise, and the biggest news is that Cooper will be returning in a recurring role. This time around his character, Edward Mora, who's now a Presidential hopeful and an associate of Finch.
