10 Once Great TV Shows That Descended Into Madness

5. Roseanne

Roseanne-Dan-roseanne-11819 I always liked Roseanne Barr and thought that her sitcom was very good. It had a huge following at one point simply because viewers could relate to it (who hasn€™t had to worry about paying bills or had to work some crappy low-paying job that they despised?) and as a result the show was a hit. It stayed fresh and funny up until the point that someone thought that it would be a good idea for the Connor family to win the lottery-which changed the entire dynamic of the show. The Connors went from being a white trash family struggling to make ends meet to a white trash family with money that never had to worry about such things ever again. Soon after the whole lottery fiasco (which ruined the show for a lot of people if you ask me) Dan cheated on Roseanne and everything started spiraling out of control to the extent that it just felt like a completely different show. Viewers eventually quit watching soon after and those who decided to stick around were treated to one of the biggest slaps in the face in the history of television thanks to a horrible revelation that took place toward the end of the last episode.
