10 Reasons Why The Flash Could Ruin Arrow

8. Just Call Barry

It isn't easy being green for Oliver Queen. He's had to sacrifice nearly everything that he holds dear for the sake of continuing his crusade, from his own reputation to his family to a life with his lady love. He practically specialises in making himself miserable. Vigilantism in Starling City takes a toll. Now, Barry's secret identity as the Flash in Central City hasn't been without fallout. Forced to consistently lie and keep secrets from best friend Iris, unsure of what his body is actually capable of handling, and cursed with a metabolism that renders him unable to drink himself into oblivion, Barry has plenty of problems of his own to bleed into his civilian life. Defeating the Arrow's villains would not be one of them. Count Vertigo, Malcolm Merlyn, Slade Wilson, even Ra's al Ghul himself... all could be easily overcome by Barry's superspeed, giving rise to a troubling question: why doesn't Team Arrow at least consider just calling Barry? The commute wouldn't exactly kill him, and it's become uncomfortably easy to look at some of Oliver's biggest moments of Season 3 and argue that Barry could have fixed everything in the blink of an eye.
