10 Reasons Why The Last Dance On Netflix Is Unmissable
6. Dennis Rodman Ensure It Is Not All Work, Work, Work
For UK viewers, Dennis Rodman may just be the most recognisable player after Michael Jordan in The Last Dance. This is mainly due to his colourful personality and his appearance in UK Celebrity Big Brother.
Somewhat unsurprisingly, Rodman is a dominant character and is central to most of the humour in the series. And watching his antics is one of the most rewarding - and astonishing - parts of the show.
Midway through their last dance season, Dennis announces he needs a break to re-charge. And by re-charge he means Vegas. Showcasing his famed man management skills, coach Phil Jackson permits the trip on the condition he returns to training within 48 hours.
When Dennis predictably misses this curfew, it is Michael Jordan himself who goes to get him. The rescue trip contains a cameo of a frightened Carmen Electra who instinctively hides behind the couch as Michael bargains with Dennis to return to training.
Rodman also dabbles in a spot of pro wrestling during the season, however this is during the NBA finals and without seeking prior approval. Still doesn't derail his focus though, somehow.
