10 Reasons You Should Watch Castlevania Season 4

1. The Endings

It's a remarkable feat, given how many plot threads needed to be resolved, that the finale was able to juggle all of it without failing miserably on at least one. However, each character's ending felt earned or appropriate, in some ways truly perfect and others sad but ultimately sensible.

Not every character's story is neatly tied up with an "ending" specifically, with some instead getting a new beginning and a future, and others having the responsibility to change and grow.

Even at the end, however, the show throws interesting twists at the audience, giving unexpected conclusions to characters almost nobody was expecting. It's difficult to have such a large and vibrant cast and give satisfying endings to each one, but the writing showed an understanding of the characters and material that many finales before it failed to.

The fact that many of these endings were as happy as they were works better than one would expect for a series that's so well known for blood and death. Then again, when you remember that the series began not with death, but with two people happily falling in love, it doesn't seem so strange to end the series so... weirdly happy.
