This is just one of many examples of a network having zero idea how to market their shows because other than that we've got absolutely no clue as to how Ash Vs. Evil Dead managed to lose viewers over the course of its three year run - or even gain many upon initial release - because Ash vs. Evil Dead is utter perfection.

Fan service is something of a double-edged sword at the best of times, more often than not producers end up just doing whatever they assume will please fans whilst sacrificing any actual narrative substance - looking at you Sherlock! But once in a blue moon, something comes along and delivers everything you could possibly hope for, Ash vs. Evil dead falls into that category.

Ash vs. Evil dead boasts everything that made the Evil Dead series great in the first place. It's hilarious, it's bloody, it's gory, it has chainsaws and guns and knives and zombies. Oh, and of course its got Bruce goddamn Campbell back in the saddle and slashing up zombies left and right. Get on Netflix this second and get to watching...Christ, we hope there's enough time left in the world for you to watch all this stuff.
