5. Eggo Waffles
Released as part of a film tie-in with 2009's Star Trek, this saw Kellogg's Eggo waffles branded with Star Trek related symbols and images. I guess this is the next move on from a simple cereal tie-in (I remember wanting a crazy volume of Weetabix when I was a kid just to get some Star Trek: The Next Generation stickers). But I'm not sure if I want to have a picture of Kirk and Spock on my waffle. I thought these were odd when they came out, and they're still odd four years later. Mind you, if you pour enough syrup on it then after all it is still a waffle, and probably tastes the same as those without Star Trek markings.
