10 Simpsons Theories That Make Too Much Sense To Ignore

2. All Of The Simpsons Are Geniuses

Every member of the Simpsons has carved their own identity over the last 30 years, and of course Lisa is no different. She has always been seen as the black sheep of her family thanks to her vegetarianism, but more importantly, her vastly superior intellect.

However, this theory suggests that she isn't actually all that different from her brother and her parents in this regard. Instead, all of the Simpsons are geniuses, but Lisa is the only one who chooses to embrace her gifts.

From a very young age Marge was shown to have an incredible artistic talent and flair but simply never pursued it. Bart has proven himself time and time again to be something of an evil genius but never applied it to his academic work, and Homer has been confirmed to be a genius after having a crayon removed from his brain. He simply preferred his life without the burden of knowledge.

This does make an awful lot of sense, and though it is seems to be disproved by the 'Simpsons gene' theory in 'Lisa the Simpson', it may be that either every other Simpson male has neglected their intellect as well, or that Bart and Homer are simply exceptions to the rule.
