Not content with acting, singing, and making people laugh, Leonard Nimoy also achieved acclaim as a poet. He released several volumes, but his 2002 collection, A Lifetime of Love: Poems on the Passages of Life, contained many moving examples of free verse. With the recent news of his passing, this verse from his poem Irish Eyes stands out:
They came to me too late to say That you were gone from now Oh, how I wish That I had known And could have helped somehow.
He didn't just write the words in his books, though...
Mike has lived in the UK, Japan and the USA. Currently, he is based in Iowa with his wife and 2 young children.
