10 Theories For The Final Season Of Game Of Thrones

4. Sansa Will Rule

Whether Jonsa does come true or not, a popular theory is that Sansa will rule at the end. Whether she will rule Winterfell and the North alone or sit on the Iron Throne is still a cause of debate, but there’s lots of evidence pointing towards Queen Sansa.

She’s lurked around the best players of the game, learning from Cersei, Margaery and Littlefinger during her time on the show. Perhaps most importantly though, she’s the most different to Ned of all the Stark children; she’s more cunning, less emotional and able to manoeuvre much more comfortably.

Sansa even killed Littlefinger, getting the drop on the man who created the game of thrones, succeeding where others have failed. Unlike Dany and Cersei (or Margaery), Sansa is not interested in power for power’s sake, but through circumstance has risen to be an accomplished leader. The recent promotional footage of her, Arya and Jon beneath Winterfell hinted that she would become the Queen In The North, too.

There’s also the possibility that the Iron Throne will no longer exist, or that the Kingdoms will become independent again. Whatever happens, there aren’t many better choices for leader than Sansa Stark.
