10 Things To Look Out For In Monarch: Legacy Of Monsters

3. The Titans

Monarch Legacy Of Monsters Questions
Warner Bros.

By the events of Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Monarch are tracking and monitoring dormant and live titans all over the world. Were they really all discovered in the five years immediately following Godzilla's first attack on San Francisco? Or were some of them known about for longer?

Godzilla might have been the monster who spurred Monarch into action but he is by no means their only target. Monarch contain and study titans all over the world, and some of them - like Kong - are uncovered decades before titans become known to the rest of the world.

But how exactly do Monarch find the titans in the first place? Is there a method, or do they trust unlucky individuals to just stumble upon them by accident?

With the hollow earth receiving a full-blown introduction in Godzilla vs. Kong, it is very plausible that the titans seen above ground to date might not be all of them. New monsters can and most likely will emerge. Monarch's methodology will be under the microscope in this new series, especially given that their record in containing the threat posed by titans is, to put it politely, shaky at best.
