Her numerous guest appearances proved to be invaluable as Woll transitioned from stage to screen, and after catching the eye of various producers in her role on True Blood, she was cast in the horror film Mother's Day. Directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, Saw III, Saw IV), Woll plays the daughter of the psychotic mother from the film's title, hell bent on protecting her three criminal sons. It was her first foray onto the big screen, though it led to roles in Catch .44 with Forest Whitaker and Bruce Willis, and alongside Antonio Banderas and Steve Coogan in Ruby Sparks.
