10 Things You Need To Know About The Batman TV Show That Didn’t Happen

4. Bruce Wayne, FBI Agent

Bruce Wayne
DC Comics

While the first season of Bruce Wayne would see the titular character travelling the world and learning all of the skills and abilities that will come in handy once he takes on the moniker of Batman, later seasons of the series would see Bruce work as a lawman.

As he began to mature, Wayne would at first join the Gotham City Police Department in order to work alongside Jim Gordon in cleaning up Gotham. Going even further up the food chain, Bruce would then end up working for the FBI.

This career in the police system wouldn't last, of course, for the rebellious, single-minded approach of the future Caped Crusader would see him butting heads with his senior officers and agents. After all, do you really expect Batman to really work within such a rigid system of rules and justice?

Batman famously sticks to a set code, yet this is very much his own code based around his own morals and his own views on how best to serve justice - which is usually with a punch to the face.
