Because, when all is said and done, Doctor Who is never gonna happen. It doesn't matter how many times you try to convince yourself that the Doctor's out there, that he's coming to rescue you and whisk you away for thrilling adventures through time and space... Nope. Sorry, but it's true. Acceptance is the first step toward change, and if you're going to hate Doctor Who for any reason, make it for the reason that it's created an unattainable dream that you're never going to get your hands on.
