The Cleveland Show just wasn't funny. This one isn't a total blown opportunity by Family Guy itself, but more so the show's producers, who of course opted to have the least interesting character on Family Guy get his own spin-off - then saddled us with the responsibility of keeping it afloat by having it air between the shows we actually wanted to watch, The Simpsons and Family Guy. So the creative forces behind Family Guy were still to blame. You might as well have given a spin-off to the Greased-up Deaf Guy.
