9. Annoying (Dead) Motherly Figures

I'm not ashamed to admit that Lori Grimes and Catelyn Stark are probably my least favourite characters in their respective shows for almost exactly the same reasons. The two mothers are both long gone now, dying with 7 months of each other in 2012/13, and their legacy is one of irritation. They were both incredibly protective of their children, albeit Lori had a phenomenal knack of constantly losing him, yet both mothers refused to accept their sons were adapting to the world. Despite good intentions, both mothers were huge interferences, and their actions created enormous problems when there really shouldn't have been any drama at times.
