It's fair to say that just about everybody was fair game for death across Game of Thrones' eight seasons, but even so, showrunners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss couldn't resist but nod towards the untimely ends of two prominent characters a few episodes before they actually met their demise.

In the eighth episode of season four ("The Mountain and the Viper"), Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) delivers an ultra-prophetic truth-bomb to young Robin Arryn (Lino Facioli):

"People die at their dinner tables. They die in their beds. They die squatting over their chamber pots. Everybody dies sooner or later. And don't worry about your death. Worry about your life. Take charge of your life for as long as it lasts."

Littlefinger is technically talking about three major character deaths, but Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) was poisoned at the dinner table several episodes prior to this chat.

Things get creepy when, two episodes after this conversation takes place, Shae (Sibel Kekilli) is strangled in bed by Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), who then shoots his father Tywin (Charles Dances) while he's on the toilet.

Fans have not-so-jokingly speculated about whether this might infer some preternatural ability on Littlefinger's part, but let's be honest, it was just a neat Easter egg, right? Right?
