10 TV Show Comic Spin-Offs That Are Surprisingly Awesome

We couldn't finish this list without one comic from Marvel. While the show Agents of Shield may take place in a world based off of comic books, many of the characters are actually original. Despite being previously unknown, many of these agents soon became fan favourites. So much so that Marvel decided they should get their own comic book run, set in the comics universe.

While many fans lament over the fact that we never see our favourite agent and superheroes interact with the characters from the movies, in the world of comics that's hardly a problem. Not only do Coulson and the Gang meet heroes like Spiderman and Captain Marvel, but they even play a role in the Civil War II storyline during the final issues of the run.

This comic was short-lived with only ten issues, but it matches the campiness of the show perfectly and provides a great insight into the life of the regular agents that so often accommodate the background, while also providing a sucker-punch of an ending.
