Okay so it’s fair to say that both the premise of this show and the cause of its swift cancellation are illustrated in that inane title.
An attempt to cash in on the faith-based film craze and transport its, er, limited appeal to the television screen, this dramedy followed an outspoken atheist who is—give us strength—friended on Facebook by God himself, an incident which spells the start of his spiritual awakening.
It’s understandable that this one didn’t make it past two seasons, despite critics granting it all sorts of excuses and attempting all sort of manoeuvres to avoid labelling the saccharine, childish premise as embarrassingly misguided as it was.
