5. Roseanne
One of the most bizarre TV comebacks to be announced in recent years has to be Roseanne.
Roseanne Barr has been busying herself with stand-up comedy, reality TV and politics of late, while John Goodman has become a major Hollywood player since the sitcom ended, and didn't they kill his character off anyway?
Conveniently, the new Roseanne episodes will ignore that oddball finale where Goodman's Dan was revealed to be dead and everything which followed apparently did not happen. It was a dumb idea anyway.
All of the original cast are on board, which always bodes well, but it's unclear how Sarah Chalke of Scrubs fame fits into the equation.
She played the second Becky when Lecy Goranson left the show in 1992, but both actresses have been cast in the revival, weirdly.
