is one of the oddest shows out there. It's one of the few things that
managed to get better after the departure of Andy Samberg, and brought us
the surprising revelation that Taylor Lautner is hilarious, when he's
not turning into a werewolf.
Despite the show losing its lead actor twice, with Samberg leaving after season one and Lautner leaving after season four, the show is still running on streaming services and its rumoured there will be a sixth season.
There are a lot of loose ends to tie up after season five, so fans are hopeful for some resolution, as well as an answer to where exactly Dale disappeared to.
The American adaptation sought to flip the premise, having a European marry into an American family. Flula Borg (Pitch Perfect 2) was signed on to take the lead role, with Michael Chiklis taking the role of disgruntled father-in-law.
NBC brought original show-writers Robin French and Kieron Quirk over to try and get the show off the ground, but even with the help of The Simpsons veteran Tim Long, it was not meant to be.
