10 Weird Early Performances By The Walking Dead Actors
9. Dawson's Creek (Melissa McBride)
The idea that Melissa McBride would appear in Dawson's Creek isn't especially strange. There are multiple shows from the nineties/early noughties which a bunch of the future Walking Dead cast had bit parts in, with a fair amount of them popping up in The Wire and The X-Files early on in their career. Neither is Dawson's Creek an especially odd show. Well, it's odd considering that it was created by Kevin Williamson, better known as the screenwriter par excellence who almost single-handedly brought back the slasher franchise in a big bad way by penning the Scream films and I Know What You Did Last Summer. No, what's weird is that the woman who would be Carol appeared in two separate episodes of Dawson's Creek, as two separate characters. She had a small part in the first season episode Road Trip as Nina, and then didn't show up again until the series finale...as totally unrelated character Melanie. Neither of whom were survivors of a zombie apocalypse.
