10 Weird Early Performances By The Walking Dead Actors

8. Judge Dredd (Scott Wilson)

Scott Wilson is the very definition of a character actor. You've seen him in countless things, always as the actor whose previous appearance you can't quite put your finger on, but you know he was good in it. Before he played the role of Hershel Greene in The Walking Dead he'd been everything from George in The Great Gatsby to a general in Pearl Harbour. Before The Walking Dead, too, he was probably best known for his recurring role as a casino owner in the vanilla CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Without a doubt his strangest part before hitting it big with the old zombie show, however, was his all-too-brief turn in the most terrible Sylvester Stallone Judge Dredd film. Dredd has been much better served by a much more straight recent adaptation, but there were some aspects the nineties film nailed. Like the post-apocalyptic wastelands populated by mutants like Wilson's disfigured Pa Angel, a part which he went uncredited for.
