10 Weird Early Performances By The Walking Dead Actors
3. D3: The Mighty Ducks (Michael Cudlitz)
Abraham may have seemed all but fated to appear on The Walking Dead following his recurring appearance on cop drama Southland, but before Michael Cudlitz became a TV regular (and, strangely, without the ginger hair and handlebar moustache) his IMDb entry looks a lot more sparse. And a lot stranger, on closer inspection. One of his big breakthrough roles? A small part in the third Mighty Ducks movie, D3: The Mighty Ducks, as a player on the opposing ice hockey team. The far-too-convoluted plot of D3 involves the team being awarded hockey scholarships and going to a fancy prep school. Except for some reason there's the Mighty Ducks but also a varsity hockey team, and they're at odds with each other, and there's a prank war, yadda yadda yadda. Basically, Abraham was a player on that varsity team, and that's almost as strange as a third Mighty Ducks film existing.
