10 Worst Sci-Fi TV Characters Of All Time
4. Andrea - The Walking Dead
For fans of The Walking Dead comic book series, this one is just heartbreaking. Andrea was a fan favourite throughout Robert Kirkman's classic series. Watching her be turned into a foolish, borderline villain on TV was infuriating.
From her fetish for psychopaths (Shane's one thing but the Governor too? Come on) to encouraging Beth's suicidal tendencies to betraying Michonne ("for a warm bed" as Michonne put it), Andrea was disaster on two legs.
Despite being a heroic figure in the source material, Andrea is relegated to the role of main squeeze for Season 3 antagonist, the Governor. The two begin a tumultuous relationship during which Andrea doesn't bat an eye at any of her new lover's sadistic tendencies.
Despite much of her dialogue revolving around taking action, Andrea spends way too much time chit-chatting to a zombifying Milton instead of trying to free herself. A dreadful conclusion to a character so insufferable that many fans celebrated her demise.
Actress Laurie Holden was seriously let down by the writers during her tenure on the show. There were glimmers of what could have been (like her badass takedown of walkers in the woods during the Season 2 finale) but ultimately Andrea served as a creative low point for the series.
