11 Amazing Themes From Classic Cartoons You Hopefully Haven't Forgotten

1. Animaniacs

I know I said that this list was in no particular order, but I kind of lied. The rest aren't, but for me, the Animaniacs theme song was my absolute favourite. It was silly, it was irreverent and it was just damn funny. It had the holy trinity of kids theme songs; It was catchy, it introduced all the characters and it was hilarious. It gave us the aforementioned Pinky and the Brain, it gave us Helloooooo Nurse and it also gave us it's own version of The Simpsons Couch gag; The always different last line of the opening song. This was a piece of genius, and made sure that the theme song was always watched from beginning to end to hear what the last line would be this time. The best examples include 'Money down the drain-ey', 'Shirley McClaine-ey', 'Rain in Spainey', and my own personal favourite; 'erm.....' So there we have only 11 classic kids themes.
