Be warned that this scene is not for the faint-hearted.

This police procedural episode starts with a patrol unit responding to a seemingly minor call regarding vandalism at a local school. However, after the responding officers hear gunshots, they realise they've walked into an active shooter situation.

Thus begins a long cat-and-mouse chase amongst injured and deceased high school students. Our protagonists try to dissuade the shooter from continuing his rampage but to no avail.

School shootings are an extremely delicate subject matter, and the episode solemnly shows the haunting imagery as a 13-minute continuous take. It works in forcing the viewer to take a long, hard look at the grim results. Unlike most police procedurals, the situation isn't romanticised as the responders desperately try and locate the killer, all the while attempting to soothe and protect pleading youngsters.

It's a harrowing and bone-chilling watch. No punches are held back, making the scene all the more devastating.
