11 TV Shows That Just Got Renewed

The future of DC Universe had been uncertain for some time but one of the things that really spotlighted that was the fact that its final original series would also broadcast on The CW the night after its release. It ultimately proved to be highly beneficial for the new series but it was still a strange decision on the part of DC Universe - at the time, at least.

Things became clearer when it was announced during its run that Stargirl was renewed for a second season and that it would be permanently moving to The CW, where it would join the network's growing collection of Arrowverse shows.

The show itself was nothing short of a triumph during its first season, blending strong narratives and storytelling techniques with the richly nostalgic feeling of the Golden Age comic books. It was also one of the most - if not the most - consistent comic book shows on TV and it received some well-earned acclaim because of that.
