10. The Powerpuff Girls Twas the Fight Before Christmas (2003)
'Twas the Fight Before Christmas' sees the children of Townsville excited for the arrival of Santa. It only focuses on one villain, Princess Morbucks as she attempts to fulfil her dream of becoming one of the Powerpuff Girls. She is informed by the group that she cannot join as she is clearly too evil, having clashed with them many times before. In retaliation she messes with the naughty and nice lists ensuring that she is the only one to receive her gift with the rest of the children getting coal. As she has fooled Santa into thinking she's nice she is given powers comparable to that of the Powerpuff Girls. The ensuing battle takes them all the way to the North Pole where they confront Santa and explain what has happened. This rectifies the mistake and leaves Princess Morbucks with her name on the Permanent Naughty Plaque. With the day saved, there's one more thing to be done as Santa needs help delivering presents and Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup are more than happy to oblige. It's a simple story with a clear antagonist who plays well into the festive plot, using Santa's lists as a clever plot device. Good triumphs over evil and everything is set right by Christmas morning. It's a lot of fun and a great holiday animation.
