4. Everyones Indifference To Caitlyn Jenner Is Due To Their Previous Experience With Mr. Garrison
When it was announced that South Park's season 19 premiere would feature Caitlyn Jenner, there was much attention on how the show was going to tackle Jenner's transition and how transgender issues will be handled. As it turns out, there actually wasn't too much emphasis on the Caitlyn Jenner stuff and the show was more interested in exploring the whole politically-correct nature of today's culture. Well fans have proposed a plausible reason as to why everyone in South Park is so indifferent to Caitlyn Jenner: they've already gone through that dance before with Mr Garrison. For those who don't know, Mr Garrison had actually underwent two sex change operations (male to female to male again). The town's reluctance to deem Jenner a hero is because everyone had already lived through the consequences of Mr Garrison's choice and what Jenner did isn't really that noteworthy. As interesting as the Jenner stuff is, all that is overshadowed by the hilarious stuff involving Cartman getting beat up and Kyle getting pranked by frat boys.
My life story is nothing special. I haven't cured ebola, I'm nowhere near stopping terrorism, and I'm still working on that climate change problem.
