12 Great Simpsons Episodes You'll Never Own (Thanks To Fox)

4. Angry Dad: The Movie

I Am Furious (Yellow) is generally considered on of the more recent Simpsons episodes that can be considered "classic." It originally aired back in Season 13, when The Simpsons began slumping (something they didn't come out of until after The Simpsons Movie). However, the follow-up (a rarity in the world of The Simpsons), Angry Dad: The Movie, is every bit as much of a gem.

In this Season 22 episode, a film producer optioning properties that were previously web series as feature films contacts Bart about making a film version of Angry Dad, the comic/web series he created back in I Am Furious (Yellow). Bart agrees, only to create a feature-length film that audiences hate. However, at Lisa's suggestion, he cuts the film into a short - and fans love it! It is soon nominated for a Golden Globe, and Homer, the real angry dad (and the voice of the character) takes credit for the series - which causes Bart and Homer to butt heads.

This is one of those rare, rare cases when a follow-up episode nearly a decade after the original is actually good - just don't expect to be able to have them side by side in your collection.
