2. Dave Bautista Wanted To Play A Walker
Oh, that's right, multi-time WWE champion and Marvel superstar Dave Bautista is a big fan of zombies and has attempted to secure a place on the hit AMC series on many occasions. You'd think that would be a godsend for the producers, as celebrity cameos are all the rage on TV, but surprisingly they weren't so keen.
In the words of Dave Bautista himself,
"I tried to get on Walking Dead for years. I said I would come and play a zombie for free, but they said, 'You're too big!'"
Of all the reasons to be turned down for a role, being too jacked is certainly among the best. Still, it's a shame that Bautista never got to drop Rick Grimes with a spinebuster, but probably best for the sake of the show.
Luckily for The Animal, he got to have his own brush with the undead thanks to Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead, where he royally kicked zombie butt.
