12 Terrible TV Shows That Should Definitely Be Cancelled In 2014

4. Revenge

Revenge's first season was full of crazy soapy plotting and glorious overacting as Emily Thorne (Emily Van Camp) tried to take down the family who framed her father. It was literally The Count of Monte Cristo transplanted to the Hamptons, and it was spectacular. The show's second season, however, was an overwrought mess, and much of its third was spent picking up the pieces. Why didn't it realise that all we wanted to see was Emily cross people off her photo of evildoers with a red sharpie? This show took its exciting premise and ran it into the ground in season two, and it's emerged a convoluted muddle with a number of superfluous characters (Charlotte, Aiden and Jack, we're looking at you). Revenge is directionless, and it ought to be cancelled while we can still look back on season one with fondness and not frustration.

Grace Murray hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
