There are so many wonderful British sitcoms out there which are easily bingable. But The Vicar of Dibley is the best one one to watch during the later part of the year as it showcases England’s beautiful countryside and has several seasonal specials, including one which is literally called ‘Autumn’.

Set in the fictional hamlet of Dibley, Geraldine Granger is the new vicar of the middle-of-nowhere village, but is met with some animosity from its odd residents as she is a female.

She eventually grows to be more accepted by her fellow community, but finds herself in some bizarre (and hilarious) situations. Who could forget The Christmas Lunch Incident where Geraldine ends up eating all those sprouts? Or the time she jumped in a human-deep puddle?

The Vicar of Dibley is a fantastic show, entertaining for the whole family. The series may have ended over ten years ago, but it’ll always be the quintessential comedy to watch during the build-up to the festival holidays.
