12 TV Shows Set To Go Viral In 2021

Years and years in the making, the cast of Friends are set to finally turn up on HBO Max and give fans the reunion they always wanted. Originally set to air in May of last year after a brief filming period in March, the pandemic caused everything to be put on hold. But, good news all round, as Matthew Perry announced on Twitter that the special will film this coming March, and be released a year after initially intended.

The special is set to air as an hour-long unscripted event in which the cast visit the show's old, iconic sets and remember their favourite moments about making the show. HBO Max released a statement about the nature of the special when it was announced back in 2019:

"In order to avoid any misunderstanding about what the special is, we want to make it very clear that this is not a new, original episode of the series. The cast will be appearing as themselves, not as their beloved characters."

For some fans, this may be somewhat disappointing, but it will nonetheless be great to see the old gang get back together and share some funny and sweet behind-the-scenes gossip.
