12 Worst TV Shows Of 2017 (So Far)
11. 24: Legacy
24 without Jack Bauer, you say? This Kiefer Sutherland-free 24 spin-off had desperation written all over it before the first episode even aired, and sadly that was absolutely on the money.
Despite a charismatic lead performance from Corey Hawkins, 24: Legacy was mostly a tedious rehash of the show's long-stale formula, with unintentionally hilarious soap opera drama, forgettable villains, predictable twists, and the thorough waste of returning 24 vet Tony Almeida.
Plus, did the writers really expect viewers to believe that the 69-year-old Gerald McRaney was the father of the 61-year-old Jimmy Smits? Hilarious.
Though the series completed its 12-episode run, Fox subsequently cancelled the show, though did state that they are planning yet another spin-off/reboot in the near future.
