8. The Taste - Nigella Lawson

At the other end of the extreme scale of possible on-set injuries, British chef Nigella Lawson almost cooked the goose during the first episode of her culinary talent show The Taste when she almost choked.

During the episode, which presented the format based on blind tasting a single spoonful of food from contestants, the ceramic spoon cracked in Lawson's mouth and almost choked her, leading to a coughing fit and concern from co-judges Ludo Lefebvre and Anthony Bourdain.

Though she did not choke, when the contestant was revealed, Ludo accused him flamboyantly of sabotage, accusing him of trying to "kill us today."
