13 Most Anticipated Upcoming New Comic Book TV Shows
6. Inhumans

Marvel's Inhumans has been a long time coming. Originally conceived as a movie, which was announced back in 2014 for a late 2018 release, and then pushed back a year before being wiped off the schedule completely, it's now coming re-packaged as a TV series.
The first run is only short - it comes in at eight episodes - but should pack quite the punch, with filming being done with IMAX cameras and the first two episodes being shown in IMAX cinemas, an impressive show of faith for an ABC series.
The series has been created by Scott Buck, who delivered the MCU's first real TV failure (in quality terms) with Iron Fist, but there are plenty of reasons to be excited regardless: it's focused on the Inhuman Royal Family, rather than the more unknowns seen in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which should make for a ripe superpowered drama full of interesting family dynamics and political machinations. The cast is impressive too, with Game of Thrones Iwan Rheon as Maximus, Anson Mount as Black Bolt, and Serinda Swan as Medusa.
If nothing else, there's a giant CGI space-dog. That alone is worth watching for.
