Opposites attract – at least in the Futurama multiverse anyway. Humans with aliens, robots with humans, humans with radiator, even ghost and horse. And the episode in which the inspector pays a visit to Planet Express is no different.

Morgan Procter is a thoroughly strict, professional woman who is unimpressed with the filthiness that lies around the Planet Express quarters - most shamefully the state of Fry’s locker. She dismisses the rest of the team to speak with him alone and then unexpectedly begins a secret affair with Fry. It stemmed from being a health inspector for so long and being surrounded by neat freaks all the time which is why someone as slobby as Fry is a turn on for her.

The inspector forces him to secrecy about their love and continues to act sternly around the rest of the crew whilst treating Fry nicely with promotions and authority. Their love affair goes on outside of work hours until Bender catches them in the act at their apartment. He threatens to expose them but Morgan cruelly downloads his personality, turning him into a neutral drone.

Not one member of the Planet Express crew likes the reign of Morgan and will do anything to get rid of her, the first step being to retrieve Bender's floppy disk. Morgan catches the crew's secretive whereabouts and she plans to change the company’s management drastically, beginning with firing Fry. But Hermes overthrows her with a fatal mistake she made during teen years when she only stamped her prom date papers four times instead of five.

Justice is restored as Hermes is re-hired, Bender goes back to normal and Morgan’s toxic influence on the team is taken away for good.
