In the season five finale, after a season-long build-up, the 99's favourite couple finally got themselves ready to take the next step in their relationship. Only, this is Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and nothing is ever that simple.

Navigating a bomb threat and a jealous ex-boyfriend, Jake and Amy's toight nups get off to a shaky start, but everything in their way only makes their official ceremony all the more touching, as Holt marries them outside the precinct in front of their family and friends.

Watching the first couple of seasons, it would have been hard to picture such a sweet and mature union taking place between these two former foes, but Jake & Amy hits all the right notes at every turn, and makes for one of the funniest, madcap and lovable episodes of the show.

Since Fox cancelled the show after this episode, it could also have been the series finale, and though it's brilliant NBC brought it back, Jake & Amy still would have made for a perfect sendoff.
