Fresh off her success with the time-bending rom-com Palm Springs, Cristin Milioti turned her eye to TV with the dark comedy-drama Made for Love.

Starring as Hazel, the put-upon wife of a tech billionaire (Billy Magnusson) who's fitted a tracking device into her skull, Milioti shines throughout the series' deliriously twisted riffs on technology, abuse and independence.

At once a social satire that dares to poke fun at our own obsession with technological advances and its darkest capabilities, and an empowering comedy that finds its protagonist battling for her physical and emotional freedom, Made for Love is seriously clever, brilliantly funny, and wickedly inventive.

All of this is well and good, but none of the show would work were it not for Milioti, who like with so many roles before this proves to be one of the most charismatic and naturally comedic actresses currently working. She's an award contender if ever there was one.
