15 Best TV Shows Of The Last 25 Years

11. 30 Rock (2006-2013)

30RockSized Liz Lemon is a producer of a Variety show. Jack Donaghy is a top TV network executive. Tracy Jordan is the unpredictable star of Lemon's hit variety show, "TGS with Tracy Jordan." Lemon constantly has her hands full, juggling corporate interference from Donaghy and off-the-handle star antics from Jordan, all while attempting to salvage her own personal life. This show ended recently, and I am still watching the last episode for the 5th time, still sad about it. Did I mention I get super attached to things? I really do. This is the smartest comedy I have ever seen. Everyone knows you can take out every line from it and have a hilarious quote. The writing is so superior to any other comedy that I've seen. The characters are unlike anything else, my favorite being Jenna, of course. Krakowski is the s***. One of my favorite parts is that it is supposedly a realistic show, yet everything about it, even the "normal" Liz Lemon, is utterly absurd. Nothing makes sense. The odd part (or not so weird) is that most people I know have never watched it. How is this possible? I can't even critique the bad acting (Tina Fey, whom I adore, is not a good actress, nor is Tracy Morgan), because it was part of the Mishegas. It makes me very angry that Jane Krakowski, who is so amazing, gets no awards while Tina Fey gets a Golden Globe. What the what? But that's the industry for you. This show is bonkers for coco puffs, touching, self aware, weird and brilliant in every way. I really want to put in here a quote to end the breakdown but there are so many. Good God Lemon!

Born in Israel, but raised partly in the UK, Shira is rather an odd duck. She will get in your face with her opinion, but will then be super polite to the waitress serving her a cocktail, no matter how bad the service is. Movies are her passion, along with good TV, music, and Shakespeare. She loves to sing and goes to karaoke a lot, too. She will do anything creative, and will resort to finger painting if necessary. Shira also, apparently, enjoys writing about herself in third person, which is weird. But she just finished her first Fantasy novel, and it's not about her, so that's ok. Shira is very glad to be a part of WhatCulture!
