15 Doctor Who Mistakes That Nobody Will Ever Be OK With
15. Amy And Rory Get Zapped Back In Time... And It Makes Absolutely No Sense
Laugh it up, guys, because it's all about to end in tears. And what is up with that wig, Karen, by the way?! So Amy and Rory were zapped back in time to the roaring 20s at the end of the mid-Series 7 finale and everything was sad and gloomy but also happy and bittersweet because they didn't actually die after all, although it felt like they had because they had a gravestone and everything. In short, their respective deaths took place over the course of a few minutes whilst actually spanning 8 decades, but that's an encounter with the Weeping Angels for you! But, hold on... It doesn't make a whole lot of sense, does it? The Doctor can't visit them in 1920s New York because that era has already been so messed up, which is fair enough, but why couldn't Amy and Rory travel somewhere else to be reunited with him, and what's wrong with the 30s, 40s, 50s, etc? It's been heavily discussed since but the general consensus is that it's all just a matter of convenience. Still bloody annoying, though.
