7. AKA Jessica Jones
Airing: 2015/16 Marvel have announced their grand plan to bring four characters together to form the Defenders super-team, and after Daredevil lands (more of which soon), the company will move on to pushing AKA Jessica Jones out to Netflix. Initially it was though the show would land in late 2015, but Marvel have also vowed to wait between each of the Netflix shows (presumably to build excitement a bit more) so it's more likely this will be pushed to 2016. Unlike almost all of the other properties, the show focuses on a depowered superhero, who opens her own private detective agency focused solely on super-powered crimes and jobs. To have Krysten Ritter of Dont Trust The B- in the lead teases wonderful noirish attitude potential. Quite what the reality of that will mean is anyone's guess. The Selling Point: It's a completely different approach to a superhero property than 90% of what is coming up, or currently airing, and Krysten Ritter is perfectly cast. Concerns: By the time it is released, Powers will have already trodden the super-detective boards (albeit on PSN).
