Airing: 10th April 2015 The first step in Marvel Studios' assault on the streaming market, this new take on the Daredevil property should be enough to push memories of Ben Affleck's actually cruelly under-valued (or at least over-hated) film adaptation firmly away while he busies himself bringing a certain Bat to life. The Man Without Fear has returned to his home of Hell's Kitchen (after being moved in the comics to San Francisco), and he's undoubtedly the strongest launch point for the ensemble Defenders project. Let's just hope it's second time lucky: at least Spartacus' Steven DeKnight knows how to get the most out of something the critics haven't always loved. The Selling Point: The enduringly popular character deserves a new lease of life on screen, and the cast looks great despite initial concerns over Cox. Concerns: It's inevitably difficult to avoid comparisons to the past: inevitably the "sins of the father" mantra do ring true here.
