Airing: Pilot Ordered There's not a great deal known about the upcoming Supergirl show, other than who is making it - Greg Berlanti who worked on both Arrow and The Flash - or where it will air - CBS - but it was inevitable that someone would make one of the supposedly lesser Batman or Superman universe characters the star of their own show sooner or later. Claire Holt was rumoured to be up for the lead role, but nothing is certain yet beyond the fact that Berlanti is currently in the process of casting and looking ahead to filming the pilot. Rumour has it, the show might cross-over with both of the CW shows - so don't rule out a launch event in the same vein as how The Flash was introduced. The Selling Point: Greg Berlanti proved with Arrow and The Flash that he knows how to work with The CW to launch DC shows that people turned their noses up at. If anyone can do Supergirl, it's probably him. Concerns: Supergirl is arguably the least compelling DC superhero currently being adapted. And the film was comically awful.
