Created by the self-described "world's most ripped off cartoonist", Fritz the Cat helmer/ Coonskin creator Ralph Bashki, Spicy City was an animated sci fi anthology series from the nineties which couldn't have been more adult if it tried.
A dark, sexy sci fi show with a stylish world and glib, brutal stories of scumbags and amoral scam artists to fill it with, this's the second series on this list to feature an alluring hostess who presented the show's tales.
But Spicy City pulled off its potentially corny set up with far more style and unapologetic raunch than the more self consciously silly Perversions of Science, resulting in a refreshingly dark and daring mash up of Blade Runner and Sin City which modern sci fi fans need to check out.
