8. The Junior Mint

"Now who's gonna turn down a Junior Mint? It's chocolate... it's peppermint... it's delicious!" -Kramer An innocent question posed by Kramer to a surgeon sets off a chain reaction with hilarious, and actually life saving, events. Elaine's ex boyfriend is going in for some pretty serious surgery and Kramer asks the doctor if they will be using a technique he saw on 20/20 last night. Meaning to ease his nerves, the doctor invites him and Jerry to watch the operation in the theater, but Kramer sneaks in a box of Junior Mints and accidentally throws one over the ledge while trying to force feed it to Jerry... and it goes right into the patient's incision! Poking more fun at George for a minute for no reason other than it's fun, the state writes him a letter to tell him that interest accumulated from a long forgotten account at a failed bank accumulated interest of $1900 and that the FDIC would send him a check. Elaine's boyfriend, an artist, takes a turn for the worse because of the mint and George decides to spend it on all his work, thinking that after he dies the return on investment would be substantial, and to his credit he was right, but not only did the guy pull through, he's actually healthier than he's ever been because of that mint! So George has a lifetime of seeing triangles in his apartment to look forward to... I might be a bad person for saying this, but ouch.
