6. Separatists Doing Time
In the season five episode "The Jedi Who Knew Too Much," Ahsoka Tano is sent to the Republic's Naval Intelligence headquarters to talk to alleged terrorist Letta Turmond.
Whilst this remains one of the show's most pivotal episodes, in which Ahsoka is framed for murder and for plotting against the Jedi Order, it also features a clever, blink-and-you'll miss it shout-out to the show's previous villains.
On a monitor in the headquarters, Separatist leaders Poggle the Lesser, Wat Tambor and Whorm Loathsom can be seen imprisoned. All three were defeated and captured over the show's run, with Loathsom being incarcerated all the way back in the Clone Wars movie.
It's a simple but effective detail that shows how much effort and care is put into the show behind the scenes.
