15 Small Details You Only Notice Rewatching Star Wars: The Clone Wars
7. The Faces Of Death Watch
Death Watch plays a major part of The Clone Wars, and their role is never more pivotal than in the show's final season, where the collective is split into two factions - those following Maul, and those following Bo-Katan Kryze.
Whilst Bo-Katan is a brilliant character whose role has continued in Star Wars Rebels and Jon Favreau's The Mandalorian, the best nod to the franchise comes when one of Bo-Katan's lieutenants is named as Ursa Wren. Ursa has a key role in Rebels and is the mother of Sabine Wren, one of Rebels' leading characters.
Dave Filoni originally wasn't going to include her in The Clone Wars, but did so in the end to create a link between the two shows, and her inclusion serves as a clever bit of continuity and fan service.
